Tulbaghia

Tulbaghia, also known as Cape garlic, is a versatile and characterful plant that stands out for its long flowering period, strong growth, and low maintenance. From late spring well into summer — and often even longer until the first frost — its elegant flowers appear, offering not only visual appeal but also a subtle, aromatic fragrance.

In-house breeding

Recognising the great potential of this climate-adaptive garden plant, we have — just as we did with our Agapanthus — begun breeding Tulbaghia ourselves. The first results are already very promising and confirm our choice for this strong, future-oriented plant.
