Agapanthus Days – Summer 2026

During the 11th edition of the Agapanthus Days, you are warmly invited to discover our nursery and beautiful collection. We offer a wide range of flowering Agapanthus, perfect for brightening up your terrace or garden borders.

We, Tim and Lauren, will personally be there and are happy to share our knowledge and passion for Agapanthus. Whether you have questions about the different varieties, maintenance, or planting, we are delighted to help and exchange experiences with you.

A Unique New Location: De Zwaaikomhoeve – the Agapanthus Nursery

These special days take place in an idyllic rural setting: our new show garden, located next to the new greenhouse
(Address: Vaartlaan 40A, Aalter).

Here you will discover countless possibilities and combinations with Agapanthus, both in our spacious borders and in the stylish containers of the show garden.

For more than ten years, De Zwaaikomhoeve in Aalter was the home of our Agapanthus collection. We continue to maintain the connection between the nursery and the garden where it all began. Around the show garden, you can also enjoy our charming summer bar “Zwaaikom” — the perfect place to relax with a drink, surrounded by beautiful Agapanthus borders.

Combine Your Visit with a Day Out

Travelling from further away? Make it a pleasant day trip! Our nursery is located right along the Ghent–Bruges canal, ideal for a scenic walk or bike ride. We are also situated exactly between the historic cities of Ghent and Bruges, both well worth a visit. And as the cherry on top, the Belgian coast is just a 20-minute drive away — perfect for a refreshing sea breeze!

Group Visits & Guided Tours

We also warmly welcome groups and associations for guided tours of the garden and nursery. We have done this many times in recent years, and it is always a pleasure to share our passion. Would you like to visit with a group? Feel free to contact us, and we will be happy to arrange everything together.

12, 13 & 14 June

26, 27 & 28 June

10, 11 & 12 July

17, 18, 19, 20 & 21 July
(fully open on the National Holiday)

Opening hours: continuously from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
