Agapanthus ‘Medusa’ is a compact, new cultivar from our own breeding programme that stood out year after year in the selection fields thanks to its exceptionally abundant flowering. We eventually decided to test this standout variety extensively for commercial production—and from the very first year, it exceeded all our expectations.

Even young plants, freshly potted, surprised us by producing 3 to 5 flower stems per pot after only a few weeks. This extraordinary flowering capacity could not be ignored, and it ultimately inspired the name Agapanthus ‘Medusa’.

Reaching a height of approximately 50–60 cm, ‘Medusa’ remains nicely compact, making it ideal for containers and smaller gardens. The dark flower stems create a strong contrast with the deep blue flowers, while the fine, elegant foliage gives the plant a refined appearance.

Its absolute standout feature? Exceptional repeat flowering. This Agapanthus continuously produces new blooms, ensuring long-lasting colour and ornamental value.
