Description

Agapanthus ‘Midnight Moon’ is a free-flowering, medium-sized Agapanthus with a striking bicolour floral effect. The lavender-blue buds open to white flowers accented by a fine blue stripe on the petals. The plant produces strong, dense flower heads and blooms over a long period, with a light repeat flush later in the season.

Growth is compact and upright (approximately 60–70 cm in height). The plant is vigorous, heat- and drought-tolerant, and largely disease resistant. Suitable for containers, borders, and mixed plantings.

Best planted in full sun, in well-drained soil. Semi-evergreen and hardy to around –7 °C; in areas with severe frost, it is recommended to overwinter the plant frost-free.

Height 0.6-0.7m
Flowering period juin to september
Extra Full sun in well-permeable soil, tub plant, patio plant
