Description

'Agapanthus 'Black Jack' is an Agapanthus that undoubtedly lives up to its name. The flowers and buds of BlackJack are so dark purple that they are almost black. With an abundance of flower buds and flowers, this Agapanthus will positively surprise everyone with its overwhelming flowering power. 'BlackJack' has an incredibly long flowering period with good repeat flowering, which means you can enjoy the almost black flowers for weeks.'

This is how it is described by 'Plant Tip'. And we fully support them in this. It is a beautiful, very dark purple Agapanthus. Just before the flowers open, they are at their darkest, almost black. Once they open they become a beautiful dark purple color. The beautiful wide leaves are also striking.

This Agapanthus won the gold medal at the prestigious 'Chelsea flower show' in 2023 in the 'Plant of the year' category. This is also why it has become very popular out of nowhere!
